Ergonomic Analysis and Improvement of a Go-Kart
A go-kart's ergonomics were tested within SAMMIES after a model was created leading to changes which marked a significant improvement in the ergonomic soundness of the design.
I led the design team in which the go-kart was modelled around an existing product. This was used within SAMMIE to test its ergonomic viability. Once this had been completed I undertook design decisions to improve its ergonomic viability; implementation of an adjustable seat (height and distance from steering wheel) and an adjustable steering wheel. I then completed the renders, for the group which can be seen below.
